Default How to keep weatherstripping healthy?

What's the best stuff to use on it? During the winter I sprayed silicone on it to prevent sticking, but I also read silicone is bad for rubber.

I don't want something that rubs off. I don't mind for the trunk and hood stripping, but how does this stuff handle the windows? With the frameless windows constantly rubbing up and down against the weatherstripping at the top of the door frame, does it stick to the windows?
