Default I hate detailing this car!

I love to keep my Z looking clean all the time, but it is too hard trying to go to school and work fulltime (also trying to keep girl happy). I just can't do it anymore. It seems like whenever I just get done cleaning it, the wind blows and it is full of dirt again. Like today I wake up and go outside and see that the next door neighbor is cutting the grass and my car is full of dirt on it. I would have put the car cover on, but I have had it on all week and I am not going to put it on for one day. Also have no garage to put it in. I like to use the quick detailer to clean it up, but it just seems to me with all that dirt on the car, wouldn't the quick detailer still put sctarches on the paint. Is it just me or am I having a nervous car car break down. Wax the dam thing at least every week and just did the 3 step meguiars car process.

I can't drive mine if it's dirty...just can't do it. Having a garage makes it much easier, but I just spent four hours in 115 degree heat index ****ing hot humidity mosquito biting hell doing mine so I can drive it on Sunday. Don't use the quick detailer unless all you have is dust, and get that off with a Cali duster. I'm feeling for you having to leave it outside, even with a cover.

Its only dust so use the auto duster. I dont like the rain which makes my car dirty. I too have a bad feeling when my Z is dirty. So your not alone.

I have to park outside also... I hate it, especially because here in Tuscaloosa it rains like 10 minutes EVERY DAY so no matter how much I wash it, it gets spots within a few hours.

It's rains so much here on the MS coast that washing it lasts for about a day or two before it's covered in nice water spots...

I just wash every 2 weeks now...

cali duster, megs QD..cover...repeat daily or when driven(only drive it when its nice out)...wash 1x week...wax once every 2 weeks...my suggestion - get a car you can neglect and not feel bad about it! my poor jeep knows this feeling!
