Water Spotting on a Clearbra
Hi Guys,
I've got a black Z, and it looks great when it's freshly detailed; however, there's one problem I can't seem to fix. I've had a clearbra installed for about 8 months now, and during that time, it's developed a ton of water spot stains that give it a "cloudy" appearance. I've tried hand waxing and tons of elbow grease, but I just can't get it out. I'm going to be machine polishing the whole car when my Porter Cable arrives in a couple weeks, and that'll be my last resort. Has anybody else run across this problem, and if so, how did you get rid of it? Normally I'd add some pics to show everyone what I mean, but it's dark outside right now...I'll post them up tomorrow sometime.

yeah i had the same problem. it got a little cloudy over time. also had some bug splatter that just did not want to go away.
yesterday i just ripped the damn thing off.
last straw for me were 'swirl' marks on the damn thing. no idea how they got there but they did.
