Had bird crap on my daytona blue. When I cleaned it off w/ water. I saw a circular stain. Made the mistake of using rubbing compound. The circular stain is gone & so is my clear paint. Now I have a circular swirl which has left the paint dull. Any suggestions to get this polished & shine again?
Thanks!!!!
Thanks!!!!

Don't worry, you'll be fine. This is what happens when you remove a scratch and use 2000 grit sandpaper to smooth the touch up paint. You have to buff the paint back to shine. Read this article http://www.bettercarcare.com/articles.php?articleId=27
but, so sum it up, you should get some 3M perfect it rubbing compound and buff in a back and forth motion. You will need to use some elbow grease or a buffer. Finish that off with 3M swirl mark remover, and you should have your paint back to normal. Let us know how it goes.
