Default New car, I got everything covered?

I just bought my brand new black 350Z last Friday. I have been doing some research on what to keep it detailed with and after reading various reviews I think I am going to go with the following:
Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit LINK
Microfiber Towel Kit from Porperautocare LINK
PorterCable 7424 Kit LINK

My first question is I have to wait awhile before I get the PC and my Z has some scratches in it already, can I use the Z-5 and hand buff it out and it still work effectively or do I just need to wait until I get the PC before I use it? Am I missing anything that I need also, I think I got everything covered.

most Zaino'ers don't use a PC...you will need a true polish w/your PC to remove swirls and maybe something akin to a compound if you have deep scratches....but the PC and a polish should remove most minor swirls and scratches...

Zaino is not like "wax" so it doesn't take a lot of elbow-grease to put it on and take it off. The PC may be overkill, unless of course you're a real tool freak and just feel the need to use one. (just kidding).

Whoa! Just noticed you're in LA too. Where?
