Default Interior

What do you use to make the interior look brighter, I have not used anything on mine yet but after 4 month of just washing the outside, and vacuming the rugs, I would like some input on the dash parts. I dont want resedue so I have not used armorall or anything like that..

Thanks

Either Meguiars vinyl/rubber protectant or 303 aerospace protectant work well, but will leave the dash glossy at first. If you want a dull look, just wipe off the excess with a clean towel. It will leave some residue, but something needs to be left on the dash to protect it from fading/cracking

I say Aerospace 303 for a glossy shine and Armorall Orange Wipes on the door panels. If you want to just keep things clean and nonglossy, i think Armorall Orange is a good product...not sure if its a good protectant though.

I went to the local Auto Zone here and picked up the Meguiars vinyl/rubber I hoped in the car and the bottle leaked all over the passanger seat, a very large protion of the seat was soaked due to a cracked bottle. I go back in, to tell them what happened and the kid gives me a replacement bottle and some carpet cleaner :\

It seemed like it worked but I know the seat was soaked, anyway I spray the Meguiars on the dash and it turns the dash white, I closly look at the bottle and the Auto Zone guy gave me wax to replace the dash spray... So now I am about to unleash a instore bad mouth session, but I held back and went in the the next day to talk with them again..

Anyway, now I spray that **** on and it is like oil...
what a mess.

I think I will just take soap and water and try to clean it all off.. that **** doesnt even sray on smooth, it looks like **** and I spent a long time trying to make sure the spray was nice and even...

303...spray it on an applicator, never spray protectants directly onto the surfaces you are cleaning.

I sprayed Armor All onto my door panels when I first got the car because I didn't know any better, or if I did I forgot. Took a long time for that stuff to wear off and looked really splotchy. I found out about 303 on this forum, and have been applying it with a foam applicator pad. Good results, nice finish and UV protection.
