Talking Dent Free!

Just thought I would share in my excitement. After two years I had accumulated about 4 little door/hood dings. Only 2 were real obvious, but I knew about the others so they had to go as well.

These guys are amazing. I dont have to close my eyes when I wash / wax / dry that area of the car where my dings were.

That's good news...I'm guessing the imperfections were not on the bumpers, but in actual sheet metal sections of the car. Congrats!!!

This is the kind of thing that I simply don't publicize... superstitious I guess

Congrats! But I can't help but feel that I missed a sentence there somewhere... was this DentPro or another company? DentPro is awesome at ding removal... we had a NorCal Z dent removal meet with about 13 or so satisfied Z'ers that had their cars successfully fixed

Hey J, if you coordinate another Z dent removal meet, I'm sure that you'll generate enough interest to qualify for a group buy discount again... I, for one, would be interested

Actually it was called Triple C Dent repair. I think it is just a local guy with a van. He stopped by the shop after he was through @ one of the Lexus dealerships. He came recommended by 350ZTN from this board.

$35 per panel, I had 3 dings in 1 door panel and one in my hood. So total cost was $70. Doug had one real nasty one in the door and his was only $35.

$35 per panel??? That is an excellent bargain... our group buy was $89.99 for the first 1" sized ding and half-price for each additional with a 25% discount off the entire total. I need to find one of these Triple C's in the Bay Area...

For the amount of time it takes them to remove one ding (like five or so minutes for one), they make bank! We should have one more PDR BBQ meet before the summer is over... let's see who is willing to host before we start the feeler thread

i just had my 350 done too...a local guy who comes by the shop...he has done 3 of my cars in the past few years, and does all the local dealerships.....$50 a panel

One time, he did these monsterous creases I used to have in the drivers fender of the 280ZX, and now look at it:

The fender had been damaged while on the way to Englishtown for a test and tune session. One of the guys from the shop was driving the car, and was a few cars behind this pickup truck with some stuff in the bed. The pickup changed lanes quickly and these tires that were in his bed flew out.....and whacked the drivers fender....these were big damaged areas (as in "dude, you need a new fender")...and this guy was able to make it perfect again!
