Chrome Paint
About 2 weeks ago I caught ESPN2 doing coverage of some car show. They went up to some restored Chevy and the announcer said that the bumpers weren't really chrome but the guy had used a new chrome paint process out of Europe. They did a close up of the bumpers and they looked just like chrome. Anyone know about this new chrome paint process out of Europe?

I've heard about this, BMW has used it on a few prototype cars.
Don't know anything about it though
There was some info posted on another board (350ZFrenzy.com) by Zpresense (Rob) regarding his work on chrome painting an Kinetix Plenum for somebody. All I remember was that it looked great (as does all his work) and was expensive as hell - the paint was expensive, not just his labor.
