Default Pillars on doors, how they scratch so easy?

Please post if you have problems with mirco-scratches all over your black pillars. I tried using Z-5 on it, and it seems to have made it worst. Was wondering if I would have to use a plastic scratch remover for it.

I have (had) a lot of micro scrathes on the black pillars. I've used Megs #10 and #17 to remove them. Now all the scrathes are gone except couple of deep ones. I think I'll need an orbital buffer for that.

By the way, the pillars after the treatment are very deep and wet looking. I love that stuff. It's not easy to use (check autopia.org) but the results are great.

I've read that plastx is good and it's easy to use. If the scratches are very minor try Plexus. This page might help.

I wash with a microfiber mitt, and have never had any scratches on mine.

2003z, I think on mine it's mostly from debris hitting it while driving at hwy speeds.

hmm, mine are fine from that, but you should see my rocker panels! Especially from using R-compound tires on the track.
