i recently moved to cherry point 2nd marine air wing in north carolina...despite the fact that there is nothing in north carolina and it sucks, ive realized that recently i been washing my car, and have been noticing that it gets dirty right next day..like ive left the car out for a week. is this because that i am living in a air station? does jet fuel actually effect the enviroment that much to actually effect the air?

If you live in a wooded area you may have a pollen problem. I'm guessing living close to an air station where dust is thrown into the air isn't going to help the sitiuation either. Maybe it's time for a car cover.

 

I live on an Air Force Base about 1/4mile from the runway and haven't noticed any unusual dirt/dust.
