Whoa slow down. Yeah Ive beaten plenty of cars, way to many to list. If you get a TT kit, and you have a full spec reflash, which advances timing in certain areas, then yes you would need to reflash your ecu to pull bck timing or use your piggyback to do that. If you have the L-Spec flash(only handles a/f no timing advance) then you dont need a reflash. No I dont think s/c is better than any Turbo, I myself am going with a Turbonetics ST kit.

I installed my AEM UEGO wideband before I started the TT install and with my mods (intake, TPs, borla TD) I was running between 13.9 and 13.2 AFR at WOT. I would start in third gear around 4000rpms and get on it. the AFR would start around 13.8-13.9 and slowly drop to 13.2 to 13.1 by redline. I think that's a pretty decent AFR for an N/A car. I bet if I had a plenum, and headers it would lean out, but we'll never find out

BTW Fuel system and engine management is in for the APS kit...install should really get moving soon.

16" Weld prostar's. They are discontinued now so you will have to find a set on ebay or a Mustang forum. Its the same backspacing the last gen Mustangs used....btw who did you meet?

Well well . . . whadaya' know . . . our paths cross again, 95! You'll excuse me for laughing at the statement above I'm sure . . . Why don't u just BUY a z and quit fantasizing about it already?!!! (lol . . . jk) Heard from Jam lately?

PS- Actually ON the subject above; IMHO I say try the 3.917 r&p gears from 350 evo. Your advice on the launch is right on w/ stock gears, but this makes it a swap-&-go ordeal. Takes all the guesswork out of it. Converts some of the 155+ top end nobody can use into useable torque everybody can use. As they say, "do the math!"

i do not remember anything about who you are

and will aquire a z..... for my GF, in a year and a half.

I dont need a Z thank you, i think a SC/heads/cam/Intake 95 with a Bundle of suspension will make me happier.

I have been givin the go-ahead to mod the little lady's 350 once she gets it.

My dad told me it was in intake this morning. 1.8 60fts for a rear drive car are awesome.Thats the best I ever pulled in my last wrx. I have a buddy with an sr20(with mods) in his 240sx and his best 60 was like 2.0-2.2 with not too much wheel spin...chirping 4th gear running high 13's.

1.8s are awesome for a rwd car?

rwd is the best platform for running from a stop, kiddo

last trip out i was running 1.7s on nittos.

there are guys with suspension in bolton cars cutting 1.5s- 1.6s on drag radials

most stalled auto ls1s will cut 1.4- 1.8s depending on power , the stall and slicks or drag radials. my friend went 1.6s on street tires

on the bottle with slicks it gets even faster

ive been debating what to do with i use Nitrous, i have slicks and i cut a 1.5 without nitrous but it was cuz of the way i launched. I dont know if i should shoot out of the hole or switch on nitrous in 2nd gear. NA launch is rev to 6k and drop and spin off the line and im guessing nitrous launch is 3k feather to full throttle.

hmm not bad.. where are you located? here in houston my friend with his lightning ran a 12.85 @ 106 with a 1.87 60'... i am surprised your not dipping into the 12s as it is. i am sure it is the elevation levels and stuff that affected everyone's time.

I ran that at Cecil county which is a pretty quick track, better than what I usually go to. You cant compare a Lightening to my cars times 60ft for 60ft. He runs 12's with the same 60ft because he has WAYYYY more low-end and mid range, and a tons more torque everywhere. Where as the Z starts to come back higher speeds because of aerodynamics and gearing.

How does having a track model help top end? I see you have a touring so the slight weight advantage would go to me but it wouldnt make a significant difference in 1/4 times, less than 100 lbs.
