+1, I can take 4th to 120 on the ecu, but I doubt Id do that unless I was trapping around 115-119 on FI, I hate the shift into 5th, its the notchiest one in my car, only been able to powershift it a few times, I usually let up for that one...do you guys have the same issue with 5th?

Yep, 5th is horrible now, I got my clutch replaced about a month ago under warranty. 1-4 worked in pretty well, and 6th isn't that bad but 5th... alot of times I have to double clutch because I let it out too fast and 5th isn't even in yet, so I try to remember to hold for that gear.

cool.. thanks... I guess I never really payed attention, cause when I do highway runs, I usually go from like 40 till 100, and I could have sworn that was redlining 4th... guess I probably just looked at the mph untill right after I hit the brakes.>?

I trap at 105mph and have seen the shift light start to blink at end of 1/4 mile . I have 265 tires though, a hair smaller than stock.

On side note, I have a 03 with the original transmission (22K miles). I tryied a late 04 manual (7K miles) Z recently with the new tranny... and had a very hard time shifting, didn't like it one bit. 03 is so much smoother, with a much better clutch engagement point... probably needs some getting used to, but I really hope my 03 tranny doesn't crap on me...

Your light blinks at whatever you set the RPM's at to blink... I am thinking it comes preset at like 6200 but I don't remember, I think I changed mine to 6400.

Yeah, it was on the stock setting.

I don't use it much, just noticed that on one of my evening runs. I find the blinking light very innacurate. It should have been a fixed redlight that you set at given RPM, no blinking. Recently it started to annoy me, so I set it to 7000+ rpm, so it never comes on.

yeah, hey nano- I have an 05'.. and I've driven Z BOY's 03' although I like my light clutch better for daily driving (sooo easy to push in..) It is soooo much longer, and the shifts seem to really have a big notch from 1-2 in the 05' unless you take it easy I didn't drive Zboy's car hard.. (redline or bang gears) but I'm sure the shorter stiffer feeling clutch would be much better for a drag race..
