Well guys i went today for a new personal best:
STILL 14.131 at 98 MPH. Same **** always. Just got an aftermarket exhaust. I got a new personal best of 2.087 60ft.
I thought this thread would be more active?

yes, I meant decrease. only .1 at best? hmm. that's not much. What's the advantage of going lighter weight on wheels then? I guess I'm not going to care too much about weight and just get the wheel I like then.

If your staying with 19" rims and thinking about going from 25lbs to 20lbs, you wouldn't get much performance gains, maybe you might feel a small difference, but your not likely to gain any advantage in a track/drag race.
If you went from 19" to 17" rims than you would feel a difference and would be much more ideal in track/drag situations. Just 17" aren't very good lookers on Z's (maybe the OEM 17"s are passable).
I would just get 1 set of rims for daily, another set for racing (that's if you do alot track/drag stuff). Other than that, I say just save your money and keep your current 19"s. (Of course, if you have money to throw away, than spend at will.
)
Now that I know your going from 17" to 19", and I'm assuming the 19"s are wider.......... I would expect some handling differences, and probably a slight decrease in acceleration. Good part is, the 19" rims would most likely look better than the 17" OEMs.
kkeep in mind us guys in central FL are probably dragging at the speedway in bithlo, That track freaking SUCKS. our 60' s aren't going to be near as good as guys with better tracks. they might as well put oil down at the line.
