How come there is no list of the top times by 350Zs? If so, how often is it updated and where is it located? I think a consistently updated 350Z top times list would be great, starting from 12.99 and faster?

This was done on a set of 245/40/18 Goodyear F1 street tires mounted on the stock track wheels. I'll be throwing in bigger jets soon and I'll keep you posted. I will continue to try to get the Z into the low 12's on stock sized street tires!

Won`t find many, if any of those

 

If a NA 3100lb VQ35 Maxima 6MT with 255whp can run a 12.8@108mph with a high 1.8 60' on slicks, a Z of the same weight/tire/power to weight can too.

 

This is true but most, if not all, of us 350Z owners get bitten by the F/I bug once we start modding.

 

12's N/A? What about that guy in the 5AT with the stall, FD, and valve body? He has like full bolt ons and all that ****, he could easily be mid-high 12s with slicks

 

sfarah or something like that on here has been the only n/a Z to hit 12's, he went 12.98 @ 106 with a 1.69 60ft. I am on his tail with a much crappier 60ft. I went 1.96 60ft and I ran 13.1 @ 107. With a 1.7 60ft, I will have no problem going 12's.

 

alberto, i see no prob with you getting into 12s at all. With more bolt ons it would even be a piece of cake , do you have vids?

 

12s are awesome, but street tire 12 sec runs are the most respectable!

My dream is of low 12s NA or FI on street tires.

I pull around 1.72 to 1.78 60's.... I only launch at 3500 rpm's to save my axles... I should be able to pull 1.6's but I'm still playing with the new clutch/flywheel setup.... Plus, as soon as I hit a 11.49, i need a cage.... I am racing tomorrow so I'll see how i do...

I agree. A 107 trap speed is a very good indicator that you have the power to run a 12!
