Hmmm... New times... Potential maybe?
I sold my 350Z to a friend of mine, and he finally took it to a track last night. The car is heavily modified (n/a), but he ran it it right after a rain storm, so thick air and poor track conditions.
The did a 14.0 at 104mph with a 2.6 60' !!!!!!
My experiance in the past has been: dropping .1 in your 60' = .2 in your 1/4 mile. Even if that is remotely close, this is a low 13 second car. I'm very excited. I built it up, he put on the finishing touches, and now it seems to be running sweet.
What do you guys think it would do with a 2.0 60'?
Since last night, he ordered brand new nitto's and a 75-80hp Venom kit. He wants mid 12's on the spray. I love being able to live vicariously through my buddy. I live in Denver (he is in Alabama) so I never raced it. No point in drag racing at 5200ft.

what was the 1/8? i dont have a 1/4 near me so i have to think of everything in 1/8's
i usually run a 9.1-.2 at about 78-79mph with a 2.1 60ft. (im trying to get about a 8.9 by shaving a little more off my 60ft. so for a 14 in the 1/4 he had to make up some serious time with a slow 60ft.
its hard to say what it might run with a 2.0 there are alot of factors but judging by the trap speed a mid 13 is very likely because i believe most 14 evens trap at around 100-101
