well, that's a first. I remember there was a track day there about 2 years ago...

so how'd you do?

 

I didn't do soo good. I need to figure out what went wrong. I ran consistent 12.9's and a final 13.0 as my final run.

I've ran 12.7 at that track, I figured I could improve my time.... not mess it up! LoL

 

it was hot...that's one big reason.
I didn't know you're FI'd, what's your set up?

I also saw that the august 12th event is already sold out and only IGOTTAZ and myself made it from the 350Z family...too bad I was hoping to have a few more Z's there this time.

 

I got my usual 14.6 again. I almost hit 14.4/14.5, but thanks to my 4th gear being unwilling to get into gear (1/8 mile was 9.3, but the 4th gear not going in basically knocked me down to 14.9 on that run). I don't powershift, I shift like a granny.

I saw some other Z drivers running 14.1 to 14.3, but they told me they were powershifting to get those times. Most just had minor mods like intake.

The afternoon was pretty hot and muggy, the air quality is pretty much like if you smoke cigarettes for a lifetime.

yeah, so do I... although some people have told me I'm "cheating". LoL So far it seems I hold the fastest time at Cali Speedway for a 350z with stock internals/heads

 

yeah, they used to tell me the same...it's not more cheating than a supercharger or a turbo. I recently had someone tell me I'm cheating because I was running on slicks...go figure. A Win is a Win

IgottaZ was running 12.9 there last time as well but both of us will be much better this time (august 12)

 

Damn.. talk about procastinating. LoL I wanted to go, but the event is sold out. Ohh well. I'll just practice at the public events. Hopefully my 12.7's will finally be improved.
