A better 60' just means you're getting there quicker...not shifting in less distance. Your trap speed will determine when you have to shift into 5th. If your trap speed goes up a little due to better weather then you might have to shift into fifth, but with a better 60' you typically won't trap any higher.

I have a question..Does your local strip have a slope/downhill? It looks like it on the video.

The runoff at the end is uphill so it makes the track look downhill. It's an IHRA track so it meets all the regs as far as elevation change is concerned.
