My APS TT Z's first trip to the track...11s inside...
Picked up my Z last Tuesday with the APS TT kit installed by GRD in Naperville, IL. Car is amazing. I absolutely love it for anyone who hasn't heard me say that 10 times already
Took her to the track today. 85 degrees and sunny. First pass hot off the highway I went 12.037@117.28mph with a 1.86 60' on my 295/35-18 BFGs with 35psi of tire pressure. I would have been in the 11s on the first pass if it wasn't for banging off the rev limiter at the end of second gear.
On my third pass...I ran this:
Needless to say I'm very happy with the results. And this was on my BFG DR 18 inch STREET tires. So then I put on my ET Street slicks and didn't run any better since I'm still a little spooked from the first time I broke an axle back in April. I need to order these driveshaft shop axles already so I can pull some deeper 11s.
I think in cooler weather with the upgrades axles and the ET streets I should be able to go 11.50-11.60@120mph
Here's the vid....enjoy!!

Thats great Brian, now I don't have to be disappointed!
Just wait until it cools off too, you will knock off another half a second or so. Don't worry about hitting it harder off the line, just don't pop the clutch, and you should be fine.
BTW, the Borla True Duals go on Thursday. I am hoping to better my stock times in the heat of summer, now that its not stock. After that, trying to make 12's with street tires and bolt ons.

Yea...it's going to suck walking through the garage in January when there's 2 feet of snow on the ground past the Z AND my motorcycle, and knowing that I still have about 2 months before I can take either of them out.

Nice job Brian! I had a great time yesterday, even though the 12's still eluded me! Next time I will take out the spare and jack and all the other crap in my car. 13.1 @ 109 wasnt too bad though for 350whp and 5.5 psi on RE040's. I need to stop launching like a puss! And btw, Neal is right, your camera man sucks!

I think that's one of the next cars that's about to race finishing it's burnout. LOTS of trailer queens there yesterday.
