You guys are lucky I didn't see this auto-bashing thread earlier.
Click my slip, nuff' said. Don't let these d-bag 5AT bashers get you down. Your auto has a lot of potential...and as far as mods go you really only have Injen and an intake with most likely heavier wheels and other stuff that adds weight. Did you remove your spare/jack/tools? If not, don't waste your passes beating on your car if you're not going to give it the best chance to run a better time. Leaving it in D mode is a waste of time, you are losing a few hundred RPMS in every gear and your launch may be severly impaired if your tranny decides to shift into 2nd early. Leave it in manual mode, get your shifts down...right to the rev limiter. It is better to be in a higher gear multiplier with a tad less power than to be in the next gear. By shifting close to redline you are staying in gear longer which places you higher in the RPM band for the next gear. Get your launch down, with a decent tire and a sticky track, stall it up as much as you can and see where it gets you. I cut 1.9's on a sticky track with bald Potenza's all day.

LOL... some of the most serious drag racers use automatics, just go look at the ls1 scene, you give up a small amount of HP for never missing a shift. You can easly add more horse power by just getting the next bolt on, but there is no way to make sure you will never miss a shift on a standard w/o getting an automatic.

You are running some very good times. My stock 2000 Ws6, with 308 rwhp, ran 13.5s and you are only a tenth slower stock.

You are running some very good times. My stock 2000 Ws6, with 308 rwhp, ran 13.5s and you are only a tenth slower stock.
The only thing I can tell you is wheel weight may be a factor, more rotating mass might be a problem. See if you can swap your stock 17's on (at least in the front if you're worried about grip).
Increase the pressure in the fronts to 40-45 PSI
Ice the plenum and TB elbow between runs (popcharger too if its getting hot)
Add a gallon or 2 (at the most 2) of race 100 or a bit higher gas to about 1/8 tank
Try to lower your back pressure to 20-24 PSI (whatever you feel comfortable with)
Once your pressure is lowered, try a decent burnout to heat the tires up
After they're heated, try a full stalled launch (2500 rpms) and don't worry about your R/T, wait until you have the TC stalled right and take off, your ET will still be the same
All of that is good for .2 to .3 possibly (the launch being the biggest factor, but every last little thing helps when all are things are combined)
