You shouldn't be dropping the clutch (I'm assuming you're on street tires). You should slip it slightly. If you drop the clutch, you'll either bog or spin.
In my car, anything below 28 lbs just slows you down. 28 is kinda a happy medium.

For Streets i ran mine at 20 when NA and got a 1.9 60ft.
With DR's I 16psi and I slip/drop the clutch at 5000 and it grabs.
