vid 1: last track day 10/30/05. 4 hour wait. 1 run. 75 shot. bounced off the rev limiter shifting into 2nd. cant miss the ugly noise it makes. cmods brake torque kit installed but not activated (im sure you can tell by the crappy burnout). not bad for an AT5.

nice run, and also nice burn out but not very safe to do in a residential area especially the way you took off, maybe a deserted area would be better for that. but nice car never the less.

Damn nice time in the quarter mile 12.6. Were you running stock tires or DR's? Is the only mod you have is your 75 shot of NOS?

i would never do a burnout in a street like that, but i had an appointment for a tire change about 15minutes later. i just had to get in a last burnout.

as for mods:

mickey thompson 26x10.5 dot approved cheater slicks on a 16x8 rim set to 15psi. injen cai. ur crank pulley. brake torque kit. 1 step colder plugs. nx wet nitrous kit, 75 shot. nx heater, nx purge (hidden at the time), nx remote opener. xerd test pipes. 3200 rpm true stall torque converter.

all other mods where cosmetic and didnt help with the 1/4 mile time so i wont list them.

 

If somebody did that on my street, I would have no choice but to kill them.

some kids came out and wanted me to do it again because they missed it. everyone else was pretty much at work. streets and driveways were fairly empty. im not that inconsiderate. lol.

I have yet to run on DR's or slicks but am extremely happy with my 12.5 @ 112.xx on my goodyear street tires. One day I will put some DR's on and up the shot to 125 and let her rip.

 

thanks. i've been running nx for 2 years now. one of the best n2o companies around imo. im thinking of upgrading to a stage 2 kit, but thats going to have to wait to see what the vb upgrade does. if i can pull off an 11.99 with a stage 1 125shot + bolt ons then im done putting money into the engine.

you like the maximizer? i've heard a lot of good things about it.
