I need to figure out what I should put on my set of track model wheels I'll be using @ the strip. Brand/size recommendations welcome

 

I've got 265/40/18 BFG drags on 18x9.5 MB Drifter wheels from discount tire.
I was thinking of selling this setup as I will be road racing more this year.I only have 3 passes on them so they are in perfect shape.If you are interested PM me I let this setup go for cheap.

I only need rear tires, I have a set of OEM track rears I'm gonna be using. Will 265/40 fit right on the 8.5 track rims?

 

I only have the setup for the rears,I'm sure you can stuff the 265/40 s on the 8.5 rims but it will be tight as the min. width is 9.0.I've got the perfect setup and I will let you have the rims basiclly free!The mounting and balancing is already done(you save money there),local so no wait.These tires new are $198 each thru Discount T,I'll let you have the BFG drag radials(2) and MB motoring Drifter wheels (2) already mounted and balanced for $380.00 I spent $700.00+ for this setup mounted and balanced ,you won't be able to get just the tires for that!
