New PB 1/4 mile, 1/8th mile, and traps......Pics...
Traction wasn't that good yesterday, but I managed to get it down to some high 1.9 60's, and barely best my 1/4 mile time.
I am still running on the same worn out tires, which is probably slowing my trap by between 1 and 2 mph. I am surprised the cord isn't showing, and I can't drive the car in the rain now.
My clutch still hasn't been replaced either, but was fine for the first few runs, before it started stinking pretty bad. Now it's chattering as well, so I will NOT be back at the track until it's changed. I really like the stock clutch, and how it will bounce back from abuse at the track, so I will be staying with the OEM clutch for replacement.
I think running Pure 93 helped the ECU to advance a bit on the top end, as I noticed it has been running better than it did during my last visit, where it seemed to pull back the timing a little. The temperature was also around 12 degrees cooler, and the air was drier, in the low 50's. The traction was not good though, as the left lane was just plain slippery, and the right was ok at best, with a lot of build up. 13.3's came easily as the day wore on, but I did get a little frustrated that I couldn't get down lower, as the traction got worse. Hopefully new tires and a clutch will get me to high 12's with nothing else done. We'll see.
I was there with some guys from LS2GTO.com, and had also put out an invite on this forum, but the Z/G people didn't show. We had a great time, and as always the GTO group was a great bunch.
New PB list:
1/4 Mile 13.305
1/4 Trap 104.94
1/8th Mile 8.585
1/8th Trap 82.16

In this pic, John was just about to hit the 150 hp button, and I was thinking I was going to beat him, DOH!
My tires.

Cool... Was wondering w/ all the GTO pics I saw. Nice times BTW. Makes me wonder what I'll be running. Putting on JWT PopCharger, Motordyne 5/16" Plenum Spacer & Iso-Thermal Gasket Kit, UR Ultra S Underdrive Crank Pulley on Friday. Hopefully by the end of this month my APS Cat-Delete Race Pipes will be in and get them on.

Those are great times considering your setup. And 1.9s on OEM tires are nothing short of fantastic!
With some DRs you'd be really close to a high 12! If memory serves me correctly, every 1/10 you shave off your 60' equals more than a 1/10 shaved off your 1/4 time. Something like 1 and half to two times as much reduced on the bid end.
That front mount on that gray GTO just looks sick. I couldn't imagine a FI LS2!
