Default 06 Z Track times

Well, after my previous time out at the track and a sad 14.1 @ 101... I figuared I needed to give it another shot..

This time, I unloaded my spare tire, in hopes of it helping out... I duuno if it helped me or not... but here are the results:I will start with my fastest run of the night.
1)
R/T:.716
60':2.163
330:5.923
1/8:8.971
MPH:81.62
1000:11.573
1/4:13.778
MPH:102.12
2)
R/T:1.087
60':2.160
330:5.900
1/8:8.960
MPH:81.15
1000:11.571
1/4:13.788
MPH:99.78

I also ran 3 13.9's @ 99-100mph, i weighed in at 3350 with me in it... so 3200 without me.im pretty sure, if I get better tires, and can hook up off the line at a high rpm, i can hit 13.5's if not lower...

Nice, finally a Revup in the 13's. Your 13.7 is great given your 60ft, I needed a mid 2.0 for a 13.77@101mph, the potential is there. I know two guys here in MD who will soon be on the map in their revups, they take way better to NA mods than standard motors, congrats...

edit-btw your "heavy" 06' Z is lighter than my "light" 03 I weighed in at 3280lbs.

^^ thanks, I was launching at 1800 roughly... but i think i can go higher...if i go higher, i can get off the line quicker.. i ran 14.1's starting from idle... and then sliding the clutch and flooring it.. then i ran 13.9's starting at 1000rpm's, and 13.7's at 1,800rpms... so i think if the tires can handle a 2,400 or 2,500 launch... i can get a 2.0 60ft or lower and be a solid mid 13 second car...

Nice times good work.

Often because of weather and track conditions, I can try my dampest and cant get 2.0 second 60-foot times. You just have to work with want you have.
