Dont powershift-if you cant do it, no need. BTW for racing I prefer powershifting-doesnt mean its the best just personal preference....

if you want to learn powershifting, try doing it at lower rpm's; this way, it'll give you some extra time to make the shift without hitting the rev limiter. I usualy do powershifting, but watch out for 1st -> 2nd...it's easy to break traction. (I did it from 2nd to 3rd with a little water on the road and it freaked me out to feel the rear end poke out at those speeds)

I dont really know if doing at lower rpm would make it any better, i would just keep practicing shifting fast while lifting. I drove like this for the longest time then one day just decided to try a power shift and shifted 1->4 without a problem. Just gotta be fairly quick.

I find that very very hard on the clutch

1-2 you should just quick shift it just ramps up so quickly... or at least in my car

I would work on just quick shifting your car and enjoy a long life for your transmission and clutch.

the only reason i power shift sometimes if because my ECU has a tip in retard. If you arent 100 percent throttle between shifts it will pull timing as soon as you go into the next gear. Powershifting for me is worth lots of mph!
