Get ya some 28/10.50/15's. your 60 wont be as good but you will gain some mph.

 

i really dont think i would want any wider, these things dead hook every time and i bog... at least with the stock clutch


that 1.63 was bogging a bit off the line, i know i can pull some high 1.5s for sure just how my car sits now....

but yeah i am looking into some bigger slicks right now...

You said you retarded the timing, are you using UTEC? Also, what are you using for engage your nitrous, thorttle switch?

 

i had it ran through the utec to control the nitrous, but... i fried the driver for the spare solenoid so it doesnt work anymore i am retarding the timing with the utec, yup


now i just have it set up temporarily (again) old school way with a button, a little bit safer now with the knock sensing retarding with the utec but still not anything i would recommend for anyone to do...

 

audiblemayhem, Awesome times, that 60 ft is incredible. Congrats and I can't wait till you get a little more seat time in your Z. I think this summer the "drag" community will finally see what a 350z is capable of. Should be quite a few Z's running very respectable times all across the country. Great job and keep us updated. i agree, you will trap 118-120 with better weather alone, and not to mention what oldshcool meant was this spend 5k-7k on a turbo kit or 600-1k on a nitrous kit, not sure about you but i like the idea of having 5 grand in the bank and still running 11's, just my 2 cents!!

 

yeah nitrous is fun, BUT i would much rather have something that didnt require so many steps to make run correctly


1. open the bottle
2. heat the bottle up from 1 to 20 minutes to get the bottle pressure correct
3. make sure the map switch for the utec is on the correct setting

i have to do that every time i use it... kinda sucks

but true i havent spent that much money on my car so thats good!!!

the low trap is due to hitting the rev limiter in fourth, sucks cause i gotta shift to get any more speed but it kills the top end, i am right on that fine line

 

dont know how tomorrow is going to be cause of the techs, i dont have a blow down tube for my bottle and i was going to buy one but the bottle has to be empty to install it soo.... not sure if i will get to run nitrous. i will see what i can do though

i am thinking that either 11.49 or 11.99 you have to have a cage. does anyone know which time that is??

Congrats man, I knew you could do it. I am very impressed with the low 1.6 60ft. Your .1 faster than me down the 1/4 with a .15 faster 60ft. Obviously I need to work that lauch harder....it sucks weare both at the point where we need to really get into 5th, a 27" tire is in my future, and probobly yours as well. I really enjoy the friedly competition man, its awesome to see people getting into 11's now with TT, ST and N20 set-ups, its great for the Z community. Like Ive announced my next track day is next Saturday, Im still running my "street" pump gas 9 psi tune, Im shooting for 11.7's before I up the boost and run race gas. I wish I was going to ZdayZ Id buy you some beers for these runs Again, awesome times man...Im gunning for you now

 

alberto, im thinking of going to ZdayZ and im running nitrous and thinking about going with turbonetics single. curious if I could get a ride if I end up going down.

cool man thanks. i have that battle of the imports tomorrow so i might try to better my times a bit, the fourth gear issue sucks, i am thinking about getting the 3.9 final gear. it would solve my problem and set me deep into 5th where it would help. i could pull better 60's with the gears too...


i might keep building it NA + n20 for a little while longer until i figure out exactly what route i wanna take.
