I won 4 rounds of eliminations today. This was the first time that I made it to the finale round.

In the 5th and finale round I was up against # 7055, and lost by 3/100 seconds. Still, winning round after round and retuning to the staging lanes to race again is one hell of a rush!
Note to those unfamiliar with Summit ET Racing. The 6:06 PM time slip shows that I raced alone and won. That is referred to as a buy. There were 3 cars remaining. The car with the best reaction time from the previous race gets the buy.
Good job David,So I guess you liked the pics cool huh. Thanks for everything had a blast!https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon17.gif

The 5:03 time slips says 89 degrees. My practice ET was better, but as the long day wore on, I changed dial-in. In the finale round I considered sandbagging, then braking at the 1,000 mark. But the guys that I was running against were too experienced to fall for such a dumb trick.

i have the ultimate bagging idea. its almost failproof
i would do runs and only use nitrous in 4th gear. that should land me mid 12s. when the guy i am racing sees he is ahead of me by a nice bit, he will let off. as soon as he even lets off the gas, he would be finished....
i think it would work everytime!!

I wish I was experienced enough to bracket race.. I've only been to the drag strip a handful amount of times..
On top of that our track sucks - prep isn't great, we have pretty sh1tty conditions, and they're open only on certain days..
