And if it was a malfunction...Why wouldnt the evo next to me times be all twisted? My friend who drives an Altima ran three 14.1's. He has headers,exhaust, tp,pop-charger....So his times were normal...My car ran like 4 cars after his race....so idk! IM JUST HAPPY

3fitty, get ur mod game up and stop hating on it. Maybe its wrong. But would you not be crazy happy if you got a slip with those times. Wrong or right, It still feels good

13.7 wasnt even at that track. It was one in PA

 

C`mon, if a stock 350 can run 13.7 @ the track, with the mods he has, 1 sec aught to do the trick 12.8 sounds pretty bad *** though, props!

More says is that he finished up with an EVO, and that the EVO was modded.

Ive read about stock 350z running 13.7-13.8 STOCK.

My car launches very well from 1900RPM. I let the clutch out about 40%, than as i stomp the gas, dump the clutch...I dont think it spins at all

 

Yeah bro, that modded of an EVO is really believable to do 12s, and that you were next to him says it all, in addition to other cars (such as the altima) running expected times.

 

Yea thats why i believe it. Bc my car had a PERFECT launch....And the evo was 1 car up on mine by the end. It wasnt like I lost to him by 5 cars and ran that....It made sense

i launch at 6000 rpms with a 150 shot of nitrous and pull low low 1.6s 60 foot time dead hooking.


i would give you 1000 to 1 odds that you couldnt do that legit, and i will bet you a 1000 dollars....

1.2s are not physically possible with these cars drivetrains.


i am thinking you might have ran a 13.8 with a 2.2...

 

You never told us what your other times were for the same day. 1900 rpm launch?

I'm sorry but that's just plain impossible. I've never heard of any street Z doing less than a 1.5. 12.8 isn't possible with the mods you have. 102 is very low to be in the 12s. Your time should have been very high 13s or low 14s. The Evo messed up pretty badly on the launch, as he said, thus he was only a carlength ahead of you by the end of the quarter mile. I just don't think 1.2 is possible with those tires and the mods you have.

 

That's perfectly believable. I've only went to the strip once in my stock Z. 14@100mph in much less than ideal conditions(hot, humid, +1000 feet altitude, low barometric pressure). In better conditions I could very easily run a 13.7@102.

I'm just not seeing your mods knocking a whole second off your time, not to mention your 60ft is unbelievable unless you have done some serious work that you are failing to mention.
