My 2004 350z....Mods posted on my sig, ran a 12.8 at the track. I have the time slips. It was 12.8 and 102 mph....The 60 foot is what killed it though, it was a 1.2 60foot. I didnt believe it but its true. I was the red 350z in Ceceil County MD if anyone was there. I dont know how to post pics on here but will work on it later tonight with my friend who does know. Thanks for readin.

Thats what I thought at first. But my car was lined up next to an evo9 with cams, exhaust,etc. From the get my car pulled on him by 2 cars. The evo finished with a time of 12.7 at 110mph. My car was about 1 car behind him in the end. The time was so good bc of the 60foot. I was so happy!

 

You forgot to list your FI mod in your sig..

 

I guess I was wrong about that grounding kit.

You don't have to explain. They have made mistakes at the track before. Just do it again and no one can say $hit.

 

Yea im going again next friday. I dont think it was a mistake bc the evo ran a 12.2 the next time around. The first time he said he bogged down, his 60 foot was 2.0 when he raced my car and he beat me by a car...his time showed 12.7...mine 12.8

Didnt get another chance to run it...2 many cars kept messing up...

 

It was a malfunction..there is just no way possible.

I thought so 2. but why would my car be ahead of the evo at the jump...Than only lose by a car? I was amazed as well

What kind of tires were you on? Stock potenzas right?

 

Nope...I have avon tires. They grip very well.

 

pulling a 1.2 60 ft? hmmm nope dont think so, does sound like a malfunction with the timing system, not to mention the mph seems pretty low for a 12 second pass

 

Ok even if that messed up. Why would my car be right next to the evo in the end? I will bring it back next friday. Keep everyone posted...At the track people were hatin...Friday will be the final judgement...I was happy though bc i have a 12.8 slip

 

Like the Evo driver said bad launch, Did you leave before him? there are too many factors to say why you were right next to him.

 

I've seen a 16 second civic run low 13s. And a friend of mine in his Saturn got like a 0.9 60 foot...yup amazing cars.

 

No If i jumped it wouldnt give me a time. It DQ's you if you jump. The evos reaction time was slower and he bogged, therefore his 60foot was a 2.0...I will post the slip. Either way i got the slip, right or wrong...We will see friday. I know im running low 13's bc ive beating this srt-4 who runs 13.2's by a car or so. And the srt-4 had dr's.

Sorry bud, but with your mods you will not be in low 13s, there is no way, look at all the other timeslips around here, my guess is high 13s..
