If no pics today tomorrow i'll get some I gotta get going soon, getting back on the dyno today just to make sure everything is cool. I just wanna make sure since I switch to the NX stuff and I am running different jetting. The AFR on my wideband is right around 11.3 but I just wanna get it on the dyno to make sure and see what kinda number it lays down with the nx stuff. I have a drum of racefuel I run in my racebikes VP racing fuel. You think I can try a 125 shot and race fuel see what it does on the dyno? or no not a good idea?

Yes you can do that. Try to run a pure mix or a high mix of race fuel. People have run 150 shot son stock blocks and been fine. With a 125 shot and race fuel you can allow for high 11's A/F, but dont go 12's...

Well i'm almost out of fuel now it says 34 miles to empty so i'm gonna put in 10 gallons of vp fuel. I'm gonna head out now to the dyno I will post results when I get back should be in a couple hours and tell you what happened. But after last week trapping almost 116 on just a 100 shot and street tires I Think slicks alone will get me into the 11's but if I can tune it for race fuel and a 125 or 150 shot then that should help alittle

Id stick with the 125 shot on the stock fuel pump. 125 shot + slicks + good driving = 11's. Get it done

Well, i'm all dialed in for tonight. I'm gonna run race fuel tonight with the new jetting but switch back to the 100 shot for normal use.
My baserun today with the crawford plenum.
baserun:
264rwhp
248rwtq

with 100shot
356rwhp
402rwtq

with race fuel and about 125 shot
392rwhp
431rwtq

Track open at 6pm and I will be there.

with race fuel the afr was 11.8 he said that is pretty good should have any issues with that. But he did say make sure you switch the jetting back after tonight when using normal gas. He told me that if I kept this jetting on 93 octane it would probably detonate like crazy.

I hope so! This thing is hard to drive on street tire with the N2O now. 431rwtq at 3400rpm. Brutal on the tires. Well, lets hope this plus slicks can bust me into the 11's territory!!

It's that time i wanna get there early. So off to the track I go and i'm not coming home until I get the slip that reads 11.999 or less! lol Hey I got the bottle filled and I even bought another bottle and had it filled. We are actually trailering it up with my lightning so I dont have to change tires when I get there. I think I might run the truck again too!!

Great numbers, you should be able to hit 11's with traction. Good luck!

Well, the best run of the night was a 11.896@117.12 with a 1.63 60ft. worst time was a 12.216@119.82 with 2.03 60ft. Not bad consider track temp was 103 degrees

Default Hell Yeah!!!

i love it man, nice job, pulled 1.63 also, thats great!!

yeah im sure with some more runs i would have gotten some better times, i ran a few good runs, then decided that i couldnt get deep enough into 5th and sold my slicks in order to buy some 28 inch slicks.... then the rest is history

again man, good job!!! this deserves its own thread !!

Ya, I sprayed right off the line and dropped it from spraying at 3300rpm to 3100 so got on the spray abit quicker with the slicks. The only thing that kinda sucks is you have to shift to 5th but your only in it for a second. I think that kinda hurts alittle. The 119 was a great trap, I didnt heat up the tires enough I think and spun alittle but grabbed every gear perfect all the way down the track that run. All in all a fun night. I ran my lightning once and ran a 11.224@123 on 93 pump gas and street tires. Gotta love that Supercharger v8, the kenny bell blowzilla rocks.

nice man, sounds like you are having fun, that was mine and albertos same problem, you are only in 5th for a second so it seems like its hurting you, thats why i bought the 28 inch slicks to stay in 4th, but never ran it again!!

keep up the good work bro!!!

Thinking about ordering some 28's now but not sure what to do, hate to spend another $400 on tires just for the track. By the way the Mickey thompson are amazing! It might help my trap speed right? but probably hurt my et?
