I'm not at work but +1 on the boredom... luckily I have places to be shortly so maybe taking the Z out for a spin will cure that problem.

I was coming out of 7-11 and these two guys that were walking in from their work truck were rubbernecking/gawking over my car and as I'm walking toward my car I heard one of them say "pffft... it's a girls car.." right after that they both noticed me walking up to the car and I laughed and boasted.... "yeah dude I'm a chick". lol.. the other dude was like ah crap... and the chubby douche who said it gave me this punk *** smirk... to which I replied "fuggin fat ***" and apparently he didnt have anything else to say.. lol

Until the thread jacking, this thread was all about who has the worst conditions. Kinda like the scar/injury scene in jaws.

Lol-seriously while some of us have it better than others, we all have run in crazy heat/himidity/headwinds so what. People feel better about their times by saying "why dont you come down to, run this at so so track". Who cares!

Yeah gimmie a break... Just another "how fast can I go" thread.... just as bad as "can I beat such and such car"...

And alberto.... I know you're not claiming you would run the same times if you were altitude challenged like some of us.... 80ft altitude has a way of spoiling boy racers...

And 3hree5ive0ero, I'm not too far away from dallas... you should be careful who you **** on.

Thanks guys for giving me your opinion on how nuch more trap speed I could expect .

Now....lets be honest . If Alberto went from track to track around the country with his car . His times would very by 3/4 to one full second from track to track . Just look at the top fuel cars . They can run 4.49 seconds and 325mph at some tracks [ sea level & good air ] When I went to Topeka Ks. earlier this year , they had a hard time breaking 5 seconds and 300 mph .
So for some of you guys to come into a thread to make fun of me and others that dont run much faster than you [ N/A ] and me 100whp more , isnt making you look to good .
I know chit about setting a car up for drags . But the best way to get good a time is to get off the line faster than the guy you run against . 95% of drag racing is in the first 60ft . Getting the car to WOT as fast as possible is basicly the only thing that matters . Any one can learn to shift with out lifting with some practice .
So different tracks , times and trap speeds will very greatly from one part of the country to the next . I appaud any one that can run a good time with any set up N/A or boosted . The best comparrison would be to compare your times and trap speeds to other cars like yours with the same HP at the same track to see how good you are at getting off the line

Thats not really what I was trying to say. My point was that no matter how bad you think the conditions are at your track there is somebody else running in worse conditions. I wasnt trying to make anyone feel better or worse about there times.

No... you are mistaken. The worse the conditions are... the faster alberto runs. It's a fact. He defies all odds... even the laws of physics. All that dancing around he does has to be good for something.

I never came into this thread and bashed your times Booger. I realize you dont run in ideal conditions....truth is, most people dont truly understand how much elevation, track prep and temps can affect you. So naturally at first glance they read 350whp and 108mph trap and suddenly something doesnt add up.

The best comparison would be to race at the same track on the same day. The faster driver spots the slower driver. If you are a hot dog, then put a time on the windshield, and run. First to cross the finish line wins and runs again. The loser is out of the competition.
