Talking Took the 350Z to Bandimere (Vids)

Well I feel I did pretty good for the frist time ever in the Z. I think I can break into the 14's though. Remember that the 6200 feet above sea level kills power on a N/A car ie; 192whp 187wtq at altitude, 249/236 corrected. Anyhow the first vid was my first run and my best for the night.

R/T: .192
60': 2.444
1/4: 15.069
mph: 94.32
Video Here
BTW: The Z28 ran a 15.3 @ 86

Second Best Run:
R/T: .188
60': 2.373
1/4: 15.155
mph: 93.93
Video Here
BTW: The RS ran a 17.1 @ 79

Track looks nice...you have much more left in that set-up the 60ft blows.

2.0 60ft would put you around 14.6-14.7 easy...try running around 27psi next time out in the rears and slip the clutch a little more than dropping it And always shift at redline, no sooner.

That reminds me of the track here. The DA is around 5,000 most of the time. Best time I ran stock was 14.9x @ 94 with a 2.2 60ft.

Glad to see that you are at the dragstrip trying your best.

New racers have a terrible time with 60-foot times. Once you run 2.0 seconds week after week it just becomes natural. Buy a helmet: you will be running 13.99 seconds.

Thanks! If the track was closer (1 1/2hr drive) I would be going more often. I just don't see 13.99, or faster, any time soon though.

Well I'm ordering my UTEC today and should have it sometime by the end of next week. That should help free up some extra hp & smooth everything out.

Ya it sucks but make for a good excuse sometimes. LOL Wish I had 3-4 track w/in 1 1/2hrs. Bandimere is about 1-1 1/2 hr drive. There is another track but not NHRA and pretty crapy but 30min drive and $10 to run all night.
