Dude, the first time a took my Z to the track I got in line without registering! Then proceeded to stage with my rear tires while forgetting to roll up my window and ran a 14.9 spinning all through first. This however, was not my first time at a track, but it had been five years since I last took my B16 CRX.
When it was all said and done I ran the fastest n/a time out of the three Z's there and its a funny story that comes up from time to time while out drinking.

dont worry...its all about practice, i myself have lots to learn as i just got some drag radials and i need to learn how to launch them.
My first time out ever i must have run 11's in the 1/8th horrible it happens to everyone lol
I see you're from Diego, i go to Qualcomm every now and then so if you go be sure to say whats up ( there arent that many Z's there, if any)

I have this same problam too man. I'd like to have sex with girls but I'm afraid of
1. getting laughed at
2. busting to early
3. getting laughed at.
BUT practice makes perfect and god knows I practice enoguh by myself.
Go to a T&T night. I guarantee there will be 20 people that don't know what they are doing either.

No need to worry. My first time I went I couldnt have done much worse than I did. I was nervous as hell and spun through first badly, and missed both second and third and ran a 17.3. By the end of the night I ran a 14.2 and the next couple times out I was hitting 13.9's. Practice makes perfect.

Just go out and have fun. Here is a link that might help you learn a few do's and dont's http://www.greerdragway.com/drag101.htm
Read this and it will help you stay safe and keep you from doing some dumb things like useing the water box on radials. Take notice of #s 8,9,14,15,&16
there the ones that will keep you from hurting yourself or someone else.
To the guy that blasted him for being afraid you might want to read this too. You come off like a cocky *** and those are the people that put real racers in danger on the track.
