Those are street cars. The drag cars are running 7's and 8's. Ryan Woons full interior 6 spd runs 8's.

A buddy of mine got some sweet times earlier this season is his BPU+ Supra:

BPU+ (FMIC)
6 speed.
Drag Radials
TTC
18 psi

Best run was 11.46@119.18!

60' on the run was 1.595... it was a BEAST out of the hole.

See the following thread for videos and timeslips:

Well, become a member

For those that are lazy here is his post

---------------------------------------------------------------

After scrambling to replace my blown 2nd turbo, I was able to get the car out for a few passes. This was my first time drag racing in 4 years....first time in a Supra, new clutch (RPS Carbon 6 puck) and first time on MT DR's so please excuse the inconsistent runs. The MT DR's never once spun. I converted the car to TTC to troubleshoot a problem I think I was having with the sequential setup. I ended up liking it more so I'm going to leave it. Not sure if that really effects how the car would 60ft or not. Boost spiked 21psi then settled to 17.5 on all runs except the one where I forgot to set the controller (3rd pass). Good times!

MPH - 93.73
1000 - 9.601
1/4 - 11.469

MPH - 91.22
1000 - 10.105
1/4 - 12.001

Ugghhh-most tracks have a slightly uphill shut/slow down area-giving that effect. C'mon guys think! Do you really think they would build a downhill track?

Mason Dixon also has a uphill slow down area aswell. And a sand pit at the end if needed

That track is on level ground for the first 1/4, after that it doesnt need to be. BTW-did you miss the site where it said NHRA approved track?
