I have to take a pic of it that won't happen until tomorrow. I have the street tire record for a 5at 13.147@107 with a 1.89 60ft.

Lol I know. I tried it once and spun like crazy and didn't try it again until today. I borrowed Dereks slicks today but still have the DR's.

Damn both of you! One guy beats my N/A time, the other my nitrous time.

Do I need to start going to the drag strips again? My car's too old and worn out, though.

I'm going for your nitrous time next. I didn't get my bottle filled before the track I have a 100shot also.

Bring the car out mine did that time with 121k miles.

Here's my list of excuses on why I can't beat your/aj's times:
- no money for other supporting mods
- slicks left back in Dallas
- diff bushing's been shot for as long as I can remember
- grad school
- and can't forget the "faster" tracks you guys get to enjoy

Anyway, it's good to see there are still people setting records and climbing up the top drag racers list.

Stock Block GTM TT HR 9.5psi

285 RE-11's

12.02 @ 126

Yes, I know the 60 and ET are terrible for the trap speed but road course oriented street tires with stiff sidewalls + cold weather = no traction...Oh well, no more excuses here's a crappy phone pic of the slip (left lane)

Sidenote: Was forcefedz built when he trapped 129?

That is one fast 12s car! I would be very surprised if I was in the 300 and "playing" with a 350 only to find out it was as fast as yours. Boost is good.

Have you road raced it yet with the GTM TT? If so, does the coolant temp stay in check well on cool days? Hot days?

Yea, I mean if it was a normal night (not in the 40's-50's) I would have had the traction to run 11's as these are usually, as I'm sure you know, fairly sticky tires. I have trapped 122-123 and run around the same ET but we finally got the tune dialed in (it was running pretty rich at a 10.8-11.2 at WOT) and it woke up nicely. I went to the track this passed Wednesday but it was even colder at 38* so I ran a 12.5 at 125.2 @ 9psi lol. My goal is to hit 11's on street tires even though it's tough to do with the power/torque level I'm at because as soon as it gets into boost it just wheel hops.

Anyway, it's not a drag car and that is why I try to do it with street tires, so I can see what the car is realistically capable of. I did a road race day at PBIR and it ran perfect all day. I can't remember exactly what the coolant temps were but they never got to be dangerous and it was a HOT day, prob in the high 80's - low 90's. The OEM gauge stayed in the middle the whole time, not that it means much but just fwiw. I did check the temps with cipher but again, I can't remember exactly what they were. I wasn't pushing the car too hard braking wise, as it was on stock pads but I was certainly going all out in the straightaways albeit at 7.5psi not 9.5. I do have a 19 row Setrab oil cooler for piece of mind though. My goal was to have a reliable car that I can rag on once in a while and still drive around everyday and barring the motor blowing :knocks on wood: it has and hopefully will continue to do that.

I'm fairly young.

Scott, are we ever going to see a time slip from you or are you trying to stay true to your title of Road Course Mod? I see you lurking around here quite often and I know you have other friends that visit the drag strip.

Scott can get down the 1/4 pretty quick for a road course guy.

I took the 2.5^ rear-camber Green Machine to the drags this year to try and squeeze on the top 25 but only managed a 13.5x when I needed to beat 13.494 to get on the list. I don't think I'll take it again as the clutch was less than happy and I don't want to replace it anytime soon. My Z32TT is slightly more set up to go straight since I've now retired it from the road courses.
