Good luck trying to catch up to my times. When/if you do come though, do make sure to look me up. It'll be interesting nonetheless.

Is that on a stock 18" rim? If so, thats a stock width tire with a slightly smaller side wall. I suppose anything's possible with VHT, but its still kinda hard to believe.

1.65 60ft on a 235 series tire and Greddy twins I dont believe it. Not hating, I have nothing to hate about just doesnt add up especially with an auto and the lackluster 3.3 FD @ your power levels.

Yeah, with more mods and power to the ground. You also have more experience. Give me your mods and I guarantee I'll break 12s.

edit - I only started drag racing last fall and this is my first manual car (bought in July 05).

2nd edit - GargoyleZ, provide the necessary info (see first post) and I'll update the list. Thanks.

i think you really underestimate autos for starters, but if i would have known that having such a good 60ft on street tires was going to cause so much bs then i would have just said screw it and not posted my times but like i said i'm just trying to get my time up on the list i'm not here to get into a pissing contest about 60ft times.

Im glad you posted about it. In 4 years Ive never seen anybody pull 60ft's like that with an auto and on street tires. It seems you did it consistently as well, so it wasnt a fluke. I didnt mean to upset you.

I wish i could pull 60fts like that on slicks but then again, i have only had 4 passes on them. I hope to get back to the track SOON!!

Keep up the good driving guys and keep the timeslips coming

well i spent about a month tuning the boost controller to not let the boost rise so fast at low/or no speeds and rpm give myself just enough power to get off the line quick without wasting as much time as possible spining. as far as the consistency of it the credit there mosty goes to the tranny. all i do at the line is get the rpms up to about 1100 and go on green and as you can see my RTs aren't the best. if i had a mt then i would have to deal with the inconsistency of how a may engage the clutch. my 60ft times weren't nearly this consistant when i had my eclipse (it was mt)

Well I finally got my butt out to the track and made a run - I was only able to get 1 run in. This was my first run ever - not just in this car but in any car. Anyway, I ran a 14.536 @ 96.73 - left lane in the pic.

100% bone stock (with a full tank of gas!)

I'm going to get back out to the track as soon as I can to try to improve my times before I start modding.

Just as an fyi, the right lane was a G35.

You are one of the first 350Z drivers I have seen racing Summit ET. You are 3/100 seconds off your dial-in. Good show.

Never raced at a drag strip before. I felt i did pretty good for a first time and being 100% stock.

+1

Those are some pretty good times for your first time out in any case though.
