Slipping the clutch and not giving a f*ck isn't a problem except when your clutch gives a f*ck and sticks the pedal to the floor.

Easy to fix. It either needs a bleed, new fluid, or a braided line. Or, fix it completely and go with an aftermarket clutch.

Luckily I had an early 03 and the clutch was pretty stout. I compared it to later years when it was out and there was a noticable difference.

I had a leaking slave cylinder that got clutch fluid all over the clutch. Nissan's already given me the whole shebang (clutch, pressure plate, t/o bearing, flywheel, new slave cylinder). Car drives much better and only once did I get the pedal to go down to the ground (rode the clutch way too long and by 3rd gear pedal went down -- clutch wasn't broke in completely, only 300 miles).

However I do notice the clutch gets really hot easy still even after a full break in (been like 4k miles now) so I plan on putting motul in for my clutch fluid. Not sure if there's a readily available braided line for the 07's. And haven't seen any aftermarket clutches yet.

There's no catching you now. I just can't keep up with my car being so messed up and your car getting new mods.

On a brighter note, I expect to see at least a 12.8 from you as is with even better conditions. Great driving, Todd.

I saw a 10.0@141 video run on F/I section. why don't put that the top 25 list?

I don't speak for other members but:

I assume that the Z is not street legal.

The driver never posted here, and asked for his time to be added.

It was full interior. I don't think street legal matters.

Like JT said best "If I pull up next to you on the street in it, it's street legal". lol...

Oh, and it ran a 9.1 by the way.

I agree, but we have never defined street legal. If a vehicle is registered with plates, then its street legal.

There is a very unusual situation with cars with historic plates, but I don't think that will happen with the 350Z.

The track was very up and down tonight with prep. They finally got it dialed in towards the end of the night (and temps just dipped below 70...~69 on my temp gauge). My clutch ate it on 2 runs, I got wheel hop on a couple more, ran a pair of 13.3's and a pair of 13.2's.

This was my last run of the night, and by far the best pass I've ever made (both in lack of driving error and time).

Note the trap speed, I was thoroughly shocked to see it that high, the .000 was just icing on the cake.

I think I can get into a 13.1 with 50-55 degree temps, but I dunno about breaking into high 12's. It would take a miracle. I power-shifted every gear on this run, had a great launch, there isn't much room to pick up 2 tenths.

Veetec called it with the 13.1's a while back though - credit to him for that prediction.

I know this is just test and tune, but I noticed your reaction time. Nice work!

Thanks. I'll never manage a perfect tree with a great run again, but mistakes happen from time to time

I had hit a couple 105's earlier in the night spinning, but when I got it on a hooked launch I almost did a dance.

Its not just driving though, if I showed you all my slips from tonight you'd see, I had 4 or 5 good runs spattered with quite a few terrible runs. Its just when all the things align (track, clutch me) my times come out better, part of it is that I'm watching where off the line the fox bodies that run are pulling their front ends up and bogging, and where they are slipping a bit (within the lanes) and lining up in the sticky spots).
I'm also beginning to think my car might have a strong motor - I'm gonna have to get a dyno done sometime, the only local dyno is a mustang though, and I'd rather get actual dynojet numbers to compare with.
