The best mod that you can make now is you: your technique. Your ET is all over the place. 14.49 - 15.57. Skilled racers are not fast - they are consistent. Practice on street tires and run 2.0 seconds every run. Practice your game. You will be able to run 14.49 seconds every run. Street tires are forgiving of mistakes. Generally racers do not break the rear axle on street tiers. Once your skills are the best that they can be, and are consistent, then it is time to graduate to slicks.

I went 14.1 at 100 my first time out at the track on street tires.
Then I bought slicks. Ran 13.44 at 101 my first time out at the track. Had I known how to launch at the time I would have gone much faster. I was timid and only launched from 3k and bogged.
clicks are the best thing to practice on and get consistant on because their traction IS consistant and you can hone your skills and see what works for you as far as shift points and techniques because your launch is a constant.
My main issue is buying new tires every month.. If I go to the track here every weekend, I will be buying rear tires once a month..
After the new year I will be running a 150 shot so I will most likely NEED to go with DR's as I will NOT be getting the traction with street tires..

I dont see how you would go through a set of tires in a month?
I doubt you make as many passes as I used to and tires would last the whole season.
I have spent the years I have owned the car on nitto 555rs, et streets, et drags, and m&h cheater slicks.

I am talking about being on street tires.. My BFG KDW's are already wearing and I have had them 3 weeks.. One time at the track with 6 runs and I did 'heat' the tires up a little bit...
2 of the main reasons I am getting these wheels is
1 get better traction
2 save my street tires

I am all for getting DR. Those however are heavy wheels to do so on. your best sucess will be at 15-18 psi hot on in those tires
