Default My 2nd time at the track, with videos.

I only managed a 14.2@100mph....I dont know why, I just couldn't do any better than a 2.2 60'. I tried launching at 3000, 3500, and 4000 RPM's, but I still couldn't beat the 2.2. Anyways, here are some vids:

Me vs. A ridiculous Hummer, Turbo'd and cammed:
http://media.putfile.com/MOV00353-76

Me vs. friend's bolt-on G (Da Mayor on this board, close race)
http://media.putfile.com/MOV00352

Me vs. Grand National(we ran near-identical times, but I started pulling him in 4th):
http://media.putfile.com/MOV00358-57

Me vs. Cobalt SS s/c:
http://media.putfile.com/MOV00357

I tried taking a pic of my best timeslip, but it comes out too blurry, and I dont have a scanner, so here are my times:

Temperature: 54 degrees

R/T: .319
60' : 2.296
330: 6.196
1/8: 9.333
MPH:77.51
1000:11.982
1/4 : 14.235
MPH: 100.62

Thanks, and yep, e-town today...what color Z were you driving? I remember a few other Z's and G's I didn't know. For some reason, everyone wasn't doing good today.

I went yesterday too. That hummer was some kind of freak. lol I ran him also. My best was 14.08 at 100 w/ a R/T of 0.123 and a 60' of 2.1. I had a silver Z w/ bronze wheels.

He was quick off the line, but my Z started pulling him midway through the race.

better launch and tires will help bigtime. You shld be able to out launch a cobalt . FWD sucks.

THe cobalt would lose, i beat one by a couple cars from 40mph to 100mph. Didn't get a chance to run from a dig but can't be much better with FWD

54 degrees and traction can be a problem. If the sun is on the staging pad for a couple of hours, traction might be better. Sometime the track will not give you a 2.0 second 60 foot time no matter how much experience you have.

I would like to see 13.99 seconds or better when the temperature improves.

hehe, not bad huH?

I know I can get better too. I have gotten 2.0x 60' before, but only ran the time in my sig. But that was at Englishtown, which consistently runs slower than Atco.
Funny I ran 13s with stock tire pressure too. I tried lowering the pressure on the following runs and got slower. I guess stock tire pressure works better for me.

Congrats Kleefton on breaking 13's...Time to change your sig wish I could've done the same.

E-town is slower than Atco? Next time I'll take a trip out there.

Davidv - you know I'll be out there breaking 13's when it gets better out.
