Went to the track for the first time this season yesterday. This was only my second time at the track. Only made one pass last season. I was pretty happy with my times. This track is a 1000' track. Here is my slip. My car is 100% bone stock 06 base down to the air filter and tires. I am carrying about 100 pounds of stereo equipment though. Dont pay any attention to the reaction time. This was a test n tune and I was more worried about getting my rpm set and launching than trying to cut a perfect light. My goal for the season is to get in the high 8's in the 1/8th mile before I start doing any modifying. Anybody think this would be a high 13 second 1/4 run?

Whoa, I've never heard of a 1000' track before.

Anyhow, I think it'd have been a 14.0 or 14.1. The commonly accepted conversion is to multiply your 1/8 mile by 1.55 to 1.57. 1.55 gives a 13.99 and 1.57 gives a 14.17. I usually go with 1.56, seems to work perfect for my 1/8 to 1/4 mile times.

Work on that launch and your car is definately capable of squeeking into the 13s I'd say.

The best that I can do is a guess. Try this calculator: http://www.wallaceracing.com/Calculators.htm
