Default The Texas Mile

Not too sure if anyone has heard of it before but there are two events a year. My girlfriends dad ran this last weekend it's basically a mile track and you try to get the fastest speed in your group. He has a Mustang Cobra with a supercharger and ran 166 twice. One of the coolest cars out was a Porsche Carrera GT it ran 177 bone stock. Just wondering if anyone has been able to run the mile and what ther mph hit there were no Z's on the track and I did not want to drop $135 for one run because I had to come back to Austin for work.

By the way there was a Hyabusa that ran 214 in the mile must of had velcro on his ***!
