[QUOTE=one350zfan]Better turn the boost up!

It will be sweet to see 2 PPW running down the track, hopefully neck and neck.You bringing a video camera?

Hopefully a few! You bringing some DR's or Slicks? If so, they run us through more frequently and It'll be easier to stage together... shorter line!

Wishful thinking if you could pull 11.97 with the numbers your putting down. My perdiction is you could shave off .35 off the current time you have now unless you could really improve your 60ft. Lets say if you could pull maybe 1.7-1.8 60ft with excellent quick shifting you could get between 12.2-11.8#. But if I have to base it off of your 60ft you have now which is a little better than average, I'll give you 12.24 in the quarter. Good Luck!

Open diff. last time! Its tough to launch with this torque when one wheel spins during the burnout!

Alberto, last time when I ran the 12.5 on DR's I had a lot of problems with the rear end swaying. The Dr's are Hoosier 245's on 15" probe wheels and I think i was running about 18psi in them. Because I had the open diff. I thought that was the main reason for the sway. My thought was that because one wheel spins during the burnout, this one wheel was getting more traction down the track causing the swaying. I believe the tire pressure at 18psi is good but maybe I can raise that so the back wheels aren't so spongy?

The other day I was thinking that the front wheels could be the reason for the sway. I keep my racingharts on the front which are 9.5" wide and I believe they're 3" wider than the DR's, so they're acting like skies or something. Even though the car looks cool with the Racingharts up front I'm wondering if I should put the factory 17's up front?

Again, there are many factors besides power for the 12.5. I believe just going out with the same shot and trying different launch/driving techniques could net me better times. But, you follow this **** more than I do so maybe a better expectation is 12.2-12.1.

I can guarantee y'all one thing, if I do run a 12.1, all be taking off the b-pipe and muffler and trying again

Open diff wont produce wobble, thats due to DR's. You will get the same feeling with stock 17's up front. Your car has the potential to run 11's but being as how you ran 12.5 before with less mods, shooting for 11's this time isnt realistic. Id aim for what I posted, then next time, see what you can do Good luck, when you going again?

Tamparacing.com is holding a pre-registered event at Bradenton this Saturday! This is the same event that I ran a 12.5 in October. Yeah, I understand what your saying BUT, that 12.5 was run the day after I installed the kit, so not only did I have to worry about handling the new power but I also had to data log too. Just more things to concentrate on.

I've become more comfortable with the power because I have had a few run- in's with people on the street. The day we tuned the 150 shot on the dyno, I did a third gear punch with my Buddy's evo ix mr at 24lbs. of boost with I/E and walked him. Actually, Ztampa(my tuner), was in the car with me and said it started to turn into a jog, lol. It is an 03 base so it's light for a Z. I also took about 50 pounds out of it last night i.e. spare, mats and passenger seat. Hell, I was even thinking about taking the A/C belt off but I'm not sure that would help much.

I also called Nitrous Supply and they said I could flow a 175 shot out of the nozzle which should put me at about the same torque numbers as the NX 150 shot. Although I wont be able to get my hands on these jets by Saturday, at least I have somewhere to turn for more power if i can't get 11's this weekend.

I can't freaking wait!
