My buddy with my slicks on only 100 shot ran 12.0 @ 113mph his first time out with a few pointers from yours truly Backed it up with many low 12's. Times got worse as bottle pressure dropped-even with the heater. His slowest run was 12.5 on the spray-great for the shot and it being his first time. 150 shot on any kind of tire-DR or slick IMO is an easy recipe for 11's. Spray out of the hole is a guaranteed low 1.7 or 1.6 60ft and as long as you hit good shift points your golden.

Yeah, he probably runs an NX kit! Most guys on here run the NX but they rate the shot at WHP where my NS kit rates at the crank. looking at my dyno, it seems that my 150 shot is more like what the NX guys are putting down with the 100 shot. I know the motor can handle my 175 shot(probably similar to NX 125 shot) but I wasn't sure if the nozzle would flow it. They confirmed it most definitely will! Little confusing?

Its really pointless to talk about shot sizes! Its really more beneficial to discuss jet sizes and bottle pressure!

I dunno who says NX rates whp, but it states in their manuals according to my friend its crankhp shots. Of course the generic 100 shot on some cars will do more on one car and less on others. Maybe because it seems to be whp on the Z people think NX rates the shots as whp. Hopefully he will dyno it soon and find out. Good luck Saturday post results regardless of what you run.

You did better than I thought you were going to do, espically for your 60ft. Good Freaking Job! I did the conversion table to calculate what your time should of been at the 1/4 mark and it should of been a 12.02. Meaning your driving and shifting skills are good! If your intrigue as to the conversion calculation I use it is 1/8 time plus .22 divided by .665 = 1/4 time. Basically it's 7.778 + .22 / .665 = 12.027. Again good driving and I look forward to your time slips and videos!

A 12.0 on juice is pretty awesome! Nothing wrong with that. Your car has definitely grown over this past year or so! Good job!

I can vouch for his 12.0 run because I was there an raced him on 2 different runs. For a stock block with nitrous only his car hauls ***.My best was 12.5 in a 5AT APS TT and that was a perfect run....It was nice to meet you Jay and like we said last nite, 11's are definitely going to happen..Shoot me a PM when you post the vids

Nitrous Supply said I could run a 67n - 42f combo in this nozzle! Their 150shot which I ran last night shot consists of 61n - 38f. I know I could beat your time with those jets no problem! The traps were low because I was shifting into 5th near the line. I believe my DR's are a smaller circumference than what I should be running!

I'll get the time slip up soon but have some Patience with the vids. I'm not computer savvy and this isn't my camera so it could take a while. There's a run with my buddy's 12.2 evo ix mr @ 2?.lbs of boost that was killer. It was a dead heat and we both were looking at each other crossing the line smiling! That was my best run @ 12.07! Talk about sticking it at the right time!

Thanks CoachK, for the coming up for the event and participating, and to all the other Z's that came to watch, although some of you left before the 12.07 .

faster than u, were you the guy with the 125shot nx tuned by Jeremy? If it was, I look forward to running you one day so PM me if you feel like getting down!

Congrats, seems like the car is falling on its face up top. Is it running rich? Do you have an A/F guage? 11's next time out

I don't think its running rich,I think its more do to with him having to shift to 5th gear right at the end. Probably more of a gearing issue and trying to get the right size wheel setup. My 5AT finishes in 4th at 6000rpm so thank god I don't have to shift to 5th because 5th gear sucks in this car.

me and alberto both had that issue with shifting into 5th at the end of our high 11 second passes.

if you can beat my time.... then do it!!!! then i will let you borrow the nitrous title for a minute and put a 25 shot on my car and take it back...

125 shot tuned by me is in an auto his SN is Pimpsahab on here, he is trapping 114...

I said running rich because for even a 125 crank hp shot, that trap isnt right. He should be into 5th without a doubt.

It could be! When we dyno'd the average a/f was around 11 but I don't remember it falling off too bad... maybe 10.5. We did put a few degree's of timing back in after a few runs and seemed to help the traps. We should be getting back on the dyno soon with the 175 shot so we'll see whats up. We know we can lean it up some with race gas but we're not experienced enough to know where the edge is. The 12.02 was my third run and the biggest difference was the launch. I launched at 6500 and said hell with the axles if they broke. It worked! The trap was slow all night, I believe I ran a 12.3 @ 106 also <----- Too close to the line to shift to 5th so I just stayed in forth, thank god the utec keeps the nitrous off while bouncing the rev limiter!

We were contemplating taking the car over to Jeremy when we tune the 175 shot but we pride ourselves on keeping the car out of shops hands... maybe thats foolish!
