Those times are not bad at all for LACR standards.

I have never seen a Z pull off better than 14.5 stock at LACR. Such a depressing track, but good for practice.

Best time I got stock for LACR was 14.6@97mph. It all depends on weather, track condition, wind direction, and 60ft. Even when you convert it to sea level it still sucks at times.

Completely agree.

Although the "corrected times" calculate your time at sea level, It cannot factor in the badly preped track. The track is always dusty, and traction is a huge issue.

i actually went 14.2 @ 96 mph at LACR back in 03, with my 03 Z. this was bone stock down to the tires. my 05 car was a little slower off the bat now modded it does 13.9@100.

Are these corrected or non-corrected times?

Not that I don't believe you, but that seems almost impossible for a bone stock Z at LACR.

Do you any slips by the way?

It just goes to show you...all factors figured in ...one track you maybe able to run a low 13 stock .....and the next track run a mid 14 . Elevation , track condition , and weather will kill your times .

these are all uncorrected times. i don't correct my times for the simple fact that you cant make up for a crappy track. rest assured these are all achievable times.

Honesly doesn't sound that hard to believe... if you get the right weather. You should correct your time just to see how you compare to other times just for the hell of it... but I tend to agree and don't correct my times for the most part. Though sometimes people will see a timeslip like yours and assume your car is slow as ***** so it's worth having the converted times on hand.

Ive said it a thousand times that elevation kills your time. I went to the track here in the middle of summer one time and the best I could do was 15.4!

I went last weekend and it was in the 70s and the best I could do was 14.4 with a 2.0 60ft.

The elevation is around 3,000 here also.

trust me that tilton does nothing for your times except make them worse. my 03Z was never modded. i only had it for a few months. id be willing to go but i just went last wednesday. i got a new motor in my car so im still breaking it in. last wednesday my car went 14.3 @ 97mph. highest trap of 97.9 itl be a while before i can trap a 100 again with this motor. id say a good 3k miles. the motor is still green.
