Well basicly what you see on the 2 slips is the difference from a stock Z and one with the Injen CAI and the SES Exhaust system. These are the 2 best times i was able to hit with in the 2 forms the car was in. I have a 2006 Touring. The races are at LARC so the times, if calulated at sea level, are STOCK: 14.725 With Mods: 14.284
BTW, Both times i had about (give or take) 3/4 tank of gas.

there has to be something wrong.... these times are the highest of I have ever heared. seriously im not trying to flame but, ur doing something wrong/or something wrong w/ the car.

lol you guys arent from cali thats why. LARC Dragway is like almost 3,000 feet above sea level so that car runs slower due to the higher elavation. ask anybody else out there from cali thats been to LARC and they will tell you the same thing. i ran with an 03 DBZ. he had intake and short shifter and his best time was 14.5

Exactly
Elevation kills your times... thats why I ran 13.4 @ 104mph on a 2.1 60ft @ 3200da....
However the converted times to sea level should reflect what everyone else gets though.
You can clearly see what happened on those timesslips regardless of elevation. His times are 'high' simply because his 60fts are high.

Yeah 3000ft elevation is pretty brutal... add in some bad weather and he could have a perfect run (13.7 at sea level) and his slips would only show a 14.5.... It's really hard to get a good comparison with the difference in DA.

LACR is the worlds worst drag strip. that being said my car with intake headers under drive pulley cat deletes and spacer went 13.9@100 mph with a 2.1 60 ft. its not only the elevation that makes lacr suck. its the head wind. crappy bumps in the tracks surface. dust on the track and no VHT that makes it suck so bad. to the OP there is still some improvement to be made with your time better 60 ft should help. also try to stage in the right lane. the left lane is always covered in dust. good luck oh by the way my time is uncorrect.
