Default Drags last night

I hit the drags last night after a long wait with finally getting my Greddy TT setup finished and geting some other odds and ends done too..

I will post the time slip later on so for the time being I ran a 12.7 at 115 mph.. It was done on my street tires too as I didnt feel like throwin on the DR's..
I will post more later..

Thats what AJ from Performance Factory was running before he threw on slicks, then it got down to 11.7 then 11.5.

That'll be one fast car when the DR's go on!

Do you tune the setup?

At 115mph, you have a lot more in that car. Im going to guess that you are having a hard time launching that beast, on street tires. Dont be lazy though, put on those DR's. If not, I will gladly use them for you! lol!

I am hoping to get into the 11's with the DR's.. A problem I have is the car isn't aligned at all.. I put a drop on her with some Tanabes and I have some nasty neg. camber.. Soooo.. that is one of the many fixes I am going to do to the car in the next few weeks..

I know I have alot more.. I was fighting it the whole way down the track.. At 8.5psi I had some good traction and the sun was out, track was hot.. The later it got, the more traction I lost and slower times came..

Honestly I dont know..I hae never dyno'ed her.. I tuned with 118 Octane at the track, in between runs, and lemme tell you.. I wish I could run the stuff every day.. Holy $hit is that stuff nice..

I tuned my race gas map to 11psi and at that level I was all over the track.. I would spin out in 1st, 2nd, and some of 3rd, fishtailing like crazy..

I am guessing I was right around 450ish WHP at that level.. Timing was right around +12.5 @11psi..

On the last run, I shifted out of first and the clutch wouldn't come off the floor.. 'Tried' shifting to 2nd and wouldn't go easily at all.. I had to pull the clutch off the floor with the tip of my foot, to shift from 2nd to 3rd.. Clutch is soo soft right now, I knew I was going to burn the stock clutch up too..

So my to-do list for the next few weeks is as follows..

1. New cluch (Means I have to drop the wastegate right?? )
2. Get properly alligned..
3. Get some new DR's.. Nittos aren't gonna cut it..
4. Install some line locks

That setup there should yeild me 11's...

I honestly haven't researched on the relocation kits.. What is the purpose??

Sorry for the stupid question..

J I will let you know when I got enough funds for the clutch and flywheel.. I still have the pm from you so hopefully that price is still good..

well the relocation will actually move the wastegates down and dump them to atmosphere with will free up some power for sure. if you dont like the sound of it you can take the tubes and run them back into the pipe farther down the exhaust. the 3 " downpipes will really really help spool faster and make more power as well...

3,000 ft elevation and 95 degree temps FTL. That's a really good trap speed considering the conditions, you should be able to easily drop that ET.

Not a bad 60' either. I wouldnt mind a 2.0 60' myself. The altitude and temp sure didnt help out at all.
