Back at ZNationals in March, there was a guy running mid 12's at something like 113. I was very surprised. Temps were in the mid to high 80's. He wasn't on street tires though.

And I didn't talk to him, so I don't know what stage stillen he was running.

Fastest Ive seen was a Stage 2 or 3 with slicks running 12.8 @ 105mph. I actually believe that was Mike the powdercoater's Stillen set-up from back in the day, he even posted a video.

best i've run with g-tech @ 3800ft elevation is 14.1 @ 101mph. they figure a 0.6 - 0.7 difference compared to sealevel. again i'm stage 1.

G-tech drag racing FTL.

I know your not going to get all that good of a time but due to the altitude, but using a Gtec to get your 1/4 times is not going to get you that far.

If you want to go fast, and fast alone, get the EVO or STI. They are completely different cars though. But your Stillen S/C'er isnt going to get you that far really!

yea i know. it's disapointing in a way. =( yea i know gtech isn't most accurate but closest drag strip is 2 hours away. so it works for just getting an idea.

I have the same problem with the track. It also is about 2 hours away. I make it when I can though. I understand how hard it is though. It makes it a whole day event when I go to the track. Just not a fan of the G-tech times. They can be pretty off.

the only thing that is nice about a g-tech is that you can test out different settups and practice your launches on your favorite empty road and have alot of information to compare with so that when your are ready for a track day you are ready. I also ran my g-tech while at the track to see how accurate it was i was within a tenth of a second and a half mile of my trap speed, so for a $200 electronic toy that plugs into your cig lighter its not to bad for some off-season practice

i however would not go a tell people i ran a 13.** in the 1/4 because my g-tech said so. You need slips to brag, but a g-tech makes for great practice.
