Yes, I went before having the clutch done, again. I now have just over 11K miles, so it will be done over the next week or so.
I met up with a friend, who owns a 2004 GTO, at Carolina Dragway. The whole family came out, and Shannon attempted to shoot video of all the runs, but my Digital 8 camera is on it's last leg apparently, so she could only capture one of my runs.
I didn't expect to do well, as the heat and humidity were on a bit. The DA was 2,188.
I did a little better than I expected.

Great times
How often do you run at carolina? I use to run down there some times. I have'nt been since last June. If you go again send me a pm and we'll meet up. I have an '03 enthusiast black auto. I run in the high 13's, so you should beat me pretty easily. I just like racing for the fun of it. Every time I went I had to race srt4's, mustangs or trucks. Again great times for stock!

The GTO ran a 14.5 best, but I think the car is having some issues. It's a 2004 A4.
I also ran a 2006 Mustang GT auto, with intake and exhaust. Since Carolina Dragway only gives out your half of the slip, I don't know what he ran. We were pretty close off the line, with me jumping out about half a car. I then pulled him enough to see his headlights in my rear view mirror, falling back before the finish. That was my best run of the night.
I ran an older model 280SX Coupe, with a Turbo and built motor, and lost barely, right at the finish. I have have that race on video.

This was only my second trip out there. I am off on Thursdays, so I am game down the road, if you want to meet up.
Thanks everyone, for the kind words. I hope to improve on the PB as it cools down in the fall, and I really expect to see other 07 Z's running low 13's. I am still not launching as hard as I want, and the 13.4's were pretty easy.

Those are awesome times for the summer. Awesome 60's as well. Pretty sweet. Average driver may have a hard time hitting low 13's still with an 07 though. A 2.1 60' is pretty good for an average driver, but putting that into your slips would only get them about 13.7. We will see once the weather gets nicer and more people get 07's how it goes.

How's your Z28 doing? I love F-Bod's.
Btw great runs Warren. Warren beat me by almost a full second when we ran. He ran a 13.7 to my 14.6
