I need some help on a few fronts.
I want to take my car to the drags but reading the track rules at the Toronto Motorsport park here in Canada they say you need a Roll bar if your times are better than a 13.49ET. (I'm getting the APS twin turbo kit so I would think and hope to be in the 12 sec area once I learn how to hook up.)
I contacted the Track Director and he first said no i need the Roll Bar,but when i pushed for allowance with the top up he said he would have to see pics and check with the IHRA to see if it would be approved for running under there set 13.49 time.
Does anyone have an official rulling on running the roadster with or without a roll bar?
Where can I get a Roll bar that can be bolted in and out for track days only without making a mess of the interior or exterior?
Thanks for any help.

An excellent source for information is the 2007 IHRA RULE BOOK.

Now, if you can really hook-up that APS TT car, you'll need a cage for under 11.50s.

Not yet, I read some rules on line and hope to talk to some more people about it this coming weekend at an Event up here in Canada at JRP.
I sent mails to both Kirk Racing and Ioportracing. Both responded very quickly but unfortunatly don't have anything.
Ioportracing were kind enough to offer sending me to there manufactures to see about a prototype but im to far away. They suggested I try these guys below here in Canada.
You can try calling
CSC Racing Products
125-A Harry Walker Pkwy
Newmarket, ON L3Y 7B3

I emailed these guys but they were on holidays at the time so I may try them again.
Looks like it will have to be a custom job.

Just go to the track on test and tune night. If tech fails you then worry about it. They probably will only ask if you have a helmet. Thats it.

Update, I went to the track here in Canada at Cayuga Aug 11. They did'nt give me any hassles with the standard OEM roll bars and I was able to enjoy my first day at the dragstrip. It was a very hot day, the temp read 97F
The first 4-5 passes in all the excitment I left the traction control on and of course did not do that well.
Next two passes with the traction contol off I left half the rubber off my tires on the track.
3 more passes for the day and I started to get the hang of it in the 13's.
My best time was 13.299, 110.23MPH, 60' 2.218 R/T .766 so I should be able to shave at least another half second off this time with some more practice dont you think?
A fellow APS TT coupe ran head to head with me on my best run and did 13.023, 110.43mph, 60'2.178 and a r/t of .350
Great day overall and have to try again soon but need more rubber for my wheels lol.
