Thumbs up E-town, NJ...Nissan/Infiniti Day, 7-7-07...Post your slips!

What's up guys,

First off, thanks to Vinny Ten Racing for this whole thing, great food, great races, and fun hanging out with you guys.

I know a bunch of you were down there yesterday....Let's compare, post you best time slip...

I don't have a scanner, and I tried taking a pic, but too blurry.

The weather was a blistering hot and humid 94 degrees and no clouds.

So here's my best timeslip:
R/T: .428
60': 2.217
330: 6.039
1/8: 9.145
MPH: 79.66
1000:11.795
1/4: 14.041
MPH: 100.57

I participated in heads-up racing, and prevailed in my class (Nissan, naturally aspirated)

My car: Base coupe, bone stock '06 rev-up.

And here's what I won:

It was nice talking/meeting you guys out there...I think I saw MRC running their Z too.

I wish I brought my camera yesterday...So post your time slips, and pictures of the event.

Thumbs up

Congratulations on the win.

Everyone who has the stamina to race when its 94 degrees deserves a trophy.

BTW if you are running with no mods, you made the Top-25. Post time slip here: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html.

Thanks Davidv...I grinded into 2nd on this run, and if it wasn't so damn hot out I would've breaked into the 13's.

I tried taking a pic of it, really blurry though:

Yep thats me. Don't worry will race again. You got great pickup on the second half of the track. It didn't what the launch was you still hit a 14 flat. It is the revup that does that. Did you lose the spare tire too?

I always thought the torque was better at the 1/4 mile track...I powershifted the 2-3 and 3-4 to try to catch you...I was still running with my spare tire and tools.

Run #1 and #2 were Time Trials.
Run #3 and #4 were races. I won #3, lost #4.
Run #5 was an end of the day last run. I was sleeping at the line I think lol.

PB are in BOLD.

That was the first time I was ever on any track, with any car. I guess I did alright, considering it was like 97* outside and the cars were sitting in the sun all day.

Pictures from Race#4. There is a video as well, but I need to get a link.

Bracket racing is a challenge. Good to see that you gave it your best.

Thanks bro....looking forward to next time.

Zmazing - You did good out there being your first time at the track. I remember my first time I only managed a 14.5, but at Island Dragway, which was poorly prepped.
